For Laser dentistry to transition from an adjunctive into a mainstream
clinical instrument across the continent, the profession must prioritize accessible,
evidence-based training. Safely incorporating these cutting-edge surgical and
photobiomodulation modalities into daily workflows empowers clinicians to broaden
their therapeutic scope, ultimately delivering predictable, patient-centered care that
elevates regional dental standards.

Kaaria Mwirigi
Dr. Kaaria Mwirigi Mburu is a Consultant Prosthodontist, Implantologist, and Clinical Lecturer based in Nairobi, Kenya. He completed his Bachelor of Dental Surgery (BDS) and Master of Dental Surgery (MDS) in Prosthodontics at the University of Nairobi Department of Dental Sciences, where he instructs and mentors undergraduate and postgraduate dental students.
