Prosthetically-Driven Dental Implants Rehabilitation

Starting on:

Ending on:
Oct 22, 2026
Venue:
PrideInn Paradise Beach Resort & Spa

Description

The session introduces participants to beginning with the desired final prosthetic outcome and working backwards to determine the most appropriate implant position. Participants will learn to identify the ideal three-dimensional implant position and understand how implant positioning influences the emergence profile, occlusion, available prosthetic space, aesthetics, and overall restorative outcome.

Objectives

Through basic digital implant planning, participants will gain practical experience in evaluating the proposed implant position and selecting an appropriate surgical and prosthetic approach. The hands-on component will allow participants to place dental implants in models, reinforcing the principles of angulation, depth, spacing, and three-dimensional positioning. The session will also highlight the common clinical and prosthetic consequences of incorrectly positioned implants, including compromised emergence profiles, difficulty achieving ideal occlusion, inadequate prosthetic space, aesthetic limitations, challenging impression and scanning procedures, and difficulties in achieving a predictable definitive restoration. The overall aim is to develop an understanding of how accurate implant positioning is fundamental to predictable surgical, prosthetic, and aesthetic outcomes.
